We all have someone in our life who is impossible to buy for. Whether they have everything they need or they’re simply picky, trying to choose the perfect gift can be a bit of a challenge. Gift ideas for the impossible to buy forEveryone has a little foodie in them. We all love local delicacies, but not everyone can afford to splurge on a regular basis. Gifting someone a delicious, gourmet meal or food item is a unique and thoughtful way to spoil them.

Buy them a drink. It’s easy enough to discover someone’s favourite beverage. If you’re dealing with a tea fanatic, treat them to an assortment of different types of delicious, healthy teas (they’re sure to love at least one!) If your giftee prefers a drink around cocktail hour, then consider a gift set featuring a nice bottle of wine or craft beer – they will be more than grateful when Friday night rolls around.

Give a little variety. You can’t go wrong with a classy gift basket! It’s beautifully wrapped and easy to deliver, and there are a variety of themes to choose from. The best part? There are an assortment of goodies in each basket, so your giftee is sure to fall in love with at least one item.

Give them an experience. We’re all overrun with material items, so buying someone another “thing” can be challenging. Gifting someone an experience, however, is a fantastic way to treat them without adding to their basement storage. A massage, wine tasting, manicure or tickets to an event are just a few of the endless and amazing options.

Let them choose. Sure, giftcards have a bad rep as a “non-personal” present, but you can’t deny that people love them! Treat someone with a giftcard to their favourite shop or restaurant, and add a thoughtful note explaining why you chose this particular vendor. You can’t go wrong by letting the giftee choose exactly what they want!

In your experience, which gifts are surefire successes? What do you get for the impossible-to-buy-for people in your life?
